Library Hours differ during exam periods and holiday periods.
Library hours will be posted specifically for temporary closures and when changes are made.
Library hours will be changed in the case of a suspension of transportation services, a typhoon, etc.

Entering the Library
【Entrance Gate】
A Ryukoku University Student ID Card or RINS Card is required.
Each library has an entrance gate. Please use your Student ID Card or RINS Card to pass through it. Once the gate opens, you are able to enter the library.
If you have forgotten your Student ID Card or RINS Card... Please call one of the Library Staff from the gate. You will be allowed to enter after providing your name and Student ID Number.
Exiting the Library
【Exit Gate】
Each library has an exit gate which you need to pass through upon departure.
Please be sure to carry out the proper checkout procedures for any materials you would like to borrow.
If you exit the library without carrying out the proper checkout procedure, an alarm will sound.
If any materials are borrowed without permission, regardless of whether the act was intentional or not, you will be required to submit a letter of explanation.
Qualifications for Library Usage
The Ryukoku University Libraries arenot open to the general public. Usage is limited to Ryukoku University students, staff, adjunct instructors, researchers and graduates, REC members and others granted permission by the Library Director.
