【Main Library】

※Visitors will be able to book from April 3, 2023 up to two days before their visit.
TMDU has two libraries: the Main Library on the Yushima Campus and the Branch Library on the Kounodai Campus.
Who May Use the Library
Theaching staff,students, and other persons affiliated with TMDU.
Members of the general public who have requested view or copy materials. → Visitor（more info...)
*For those graduates who do not have a TMDU card, former faculty and staff, the same procedures as outsiders are required.
Library Cards（Students,Faculty staff)
A librarycard is required to use the TMDU libraries.
ICcard-type student and staff IDs (IC ID cards) can be used as TMDU librarycards.
<<Undergraduate students / Graduatestudents / Research students>>
- An IDcard can be used as a library card throughout a term of enrollment.
- Studentsare registered to use the library when they first enter TMDU; no furtherapplication is required.
<<Faculty Staff>>
- An IDcard can be used as a library card.
- Facultyor staff must register prior to using the libraries for the first time andrenew registration each academic year.
*Registrationand renewal are not accepted by phone or e-mail
Personswithout an IC ID will be issued a barcode-type library card.
To receivea barcode-type library card, bring proof verifying you are currently enrolled atTMDU to a library counter.
(ex. Notice of employment ,Healthinsurance card. If you are a part-time teachers please bring a letter ofappointment.)
*Librarydoes not register a TMDU rental ID card,because we could not verify the person is affiliated with TMDU.

Main Library3,4F(the entrance at 3F), M&D Tower, Yushima campus
To enter; Person should touch an ID card or a barcode-type library card to the gate card reader. If Person without a card, he/she should make an inquiry at the library counter.
To exit; Same as when entering, Person should touch an ID card or a barcode-type library card to the gate card reader. If Person without a card, he/she should make an inquiry at the library counter.
