For visitors who wish to use the TMDU library
(Including graduates who do not have a TMDU card)
*If you have a mutual use agreement, you can use the library without making a reservation.
From April 3, 2023, visitor use will resume with advance reservations.
Please read the following terms of use, and from the advance reservation web page
Please make a reservation by 16:00 two days before the desired date
(Those who do not have a reservation cannot use it. Reservations cannot be made by e-mail or telephone.)
[Terms of use for visitors]
・The usage time is up to 2 hours on weekdays between 9:00 and 19:00 (1 reservation is 2 hours)
・Only for self-study with brought-in materials and use of seats, outlets cannot be used
・Available services include admission, browsing, photocopies of paper materials, and OPAC PC use.
(Copies are self-service, black and white is 10 yen, color is 30 yen, and you can get a receipt from the copy machine on the 3rd floor.)
・When you visit the cunter, please fill out the "Reading application form" and see your ID card.
・Please use the designated seat (seats other than the designated seat cannot be used)
・You cannot use e-journals, e-books, databases, PCs in the library, or Wi-Fi in the library.
・Please make a visit reservation after confirming whether or not the book is in the library's collection (OPAC) on the library website in advance.
(Please fill in the name of the material to be used when filling out the reading application form.)
・Those who do not have a reservation cannot use the facility even if they are accompanied by a member of the university.
・Please wear a mask inside the Yushima Capas building (please bring your own mask)
[Other precautions]
・It cannot be used for more than 2 hours a day (2 slots cannot be used consecutively)
・Materials cannot be borrowed.
(Excluding those who belong to Meiji University and have already created a TMDU library user card)
・It is not possible to request materials from the Konodai branch.

(Automated archive materials may not be available due to maintenance, etc.)
・If you would like a reference, please let us know in advance when applying for a reservation.
・Please manage your belongings responsibly. Always carry valuables
・Eating and drinking is prohibited except for beverages in containers with lids. Please use the dining lounge in front of the library entrance.
・Please note that we are cleaning, organizing books, checking equipment, etc. while the library is open.
・Handle materials with care.
・Please refrain from taking pictures (including materials) in the museum and talking on mobile phones and smartphones.
・In addition, please cooperate to follow the instructions of the librarians.
[Flow to use]
① Make a reservation from the advance reservation web page by 16:00 two days before the desired use

② You will receive a reservation confirmation email, so please check it.
→ Reservation is complete when you receive a reservation confirmation email.
・If you do not receive an email, please contact us as there may be an error in your email address.
・If there are matters to be confirmed, we may contact you by email in advance.
↓
③ A reminder email will be sent to you the day before the day of use.
↓
④On the day of the event, please complete the entry procedures at the M&D Tower 1F Disaster Prevention Center.
At that time, we will give you a “campus entry permit”, so please bring it to the library counter on the 3rd floor.

⑤Please show the "reservation confirmation email" at the counter (printing or smartphone screen is also acceptable)
Please fill out the “Reading Application Form” and see your ID
(We will issue an admission card that is valid on the day, so please present it when you temporarily leave or re-enter the building.)

⑥ Please use the designated seat
↓
⑦Please talk to the counter staff when you are done using it.
↓
⑧Return the “Entry Permit” to the Disaster Prevention Center and you are finished.
